On the 1st July 2009 the workplace relations system in Australia was transformed with the introduction of the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth). Significant changes were introduced in how employee relations are conducted, with the introduction of National Employment Standards and Modern Awards, as well as changes to unfair dismissal laws, collective agreements and employee leave. This workshop is designed specifically for Not for Profit organisations, and covers relevant industrial/employee relations state and Federal, and outlines in detail the steps and procedures you need to take to comply with the relevant employment laws.
